Flower Light, bright flowers of Filip Streit

Filip Streit seems to have borrowed from Cameron's film Avatar some flowers to create these surreal lamps. From the woods on the planet Pandora Czech designer seems to have caught the full philosophy where nature is all that we need to create, live and communicate. Produced by the mark ateh, Streit has succeeded thanks to this lamp to win the Good Design Award 2009, awarded by the University of Chicago.

Flower Light by Filip Streit

Light is made of flower petals wired with three fluorescent tubes around which the structure is constructed of opaque glass of the lamp. The stem that instead connects the lamp to the ceiling is made of a flexible tube that allows to change the direction of the light and the height of the lamp itself.
