28 Series, the new lamps by Omer Arbel

At the next Salone del Mobile Omer Arbel, Canadian designers will showcase its new lamps designed for Bocci. You will wonder who's Omer Arbel? It is the designer who designed the medals for the recent Winter Olympics in Vancouver 2010.

28 Series

The new work of Arbel takes the name of 28 Series, and it is a chandelier created with a technique of glass processing absolutely particular. The air is blown inside the glass intermittently, by playing on the alternation given by exhalation and the inhalation. Each glass ball in this way results to be spherical in shape but distorted. Lamp unique not only in form but also in its inability to be repeated. The 28 Series are also available in halogen or LED with wiring.
